Bridgerton Season 3 Part Two trailer signals major hiccups for #Polin

“Who needs fresh air when there is fresh gossip?” Lady Danbury (Adjoa Andoh) remarks early into the trailer for Bridgerton season 3 part 2. With the news of Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton) and Penelope Featherington’s (Nicola Coughlan) engagement hot off the press, a series of questions and eyes are being raised across the ton. Colin’s brother, Anthony (Jonathan Bailey), remarks that it’s all very sudden. Pen’s former best friend Eloise (Claudia Jessie), wonders when she’s going to tell Colin that she’s Lady Whistledown. Well, it’s not so simple, you see. After all, in part 1, Colin had vowed to destroy Whistledown if he ever discovered her identity.

“Colin cannot discover my secret. Whistledown is power,” Penelope says midway through the Bridgerton season 3 part 2 trailer. But Eloise isn’t willing to harbour her secret anymore and threatens Pen: “If it’s too difficult for you to reveal the truth, I will reveal it to him myself.” Colin is starting to figure it out, too—he finds ink on her hands (explained away by letter writing)—and bluntly asks her if she’s keeping a secret from him. When she responds that she can take care her of herself, Colin explodes: “Then what good am I to you?!”

What time is Bridgerton season 3 out on Netflix?

Here’s when Bridgerton season 3 — Part 1 and Part 2 — will be available in the US, the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, Canada, and the rest of Europe.

There’s a bit of dissonance in the Whistledown voiceover that follows as it doesn’t seem like the kind of thing Penelope would say about her own situation: “While most seasons of our marriage mart follow a pattern, this season is surely a surprise.” It seems there’s going to be a surprise in store for Benedict Bridgerton as well, whose new lady friend—Tilley Arnold (Hannah New)—seems to have found herself a suitor (or husband?).

When is Bridgerton season 3 part 2 out?

The four-episode Part 2 of Bridgerton season 3 releases Thursday, June 13 on Netflix.
