There are other issues as well. The coven’s only non-witch member, “Teen” (Joe Locke), almost died last week after summoning a demon that had cursed the family of Alice Wu-Gulliver (Ali Ahn). Agatha Harkness (Kathryn Hahn) was very invested in not letting him die, signalling that she saw him as the son she gave up for the Darkhold. Though, if you believe the coven’s newest entrant, Rio Vidal (Aubrey Plaza)—who shares a deep past with the title character—he isn’t her son. Is she lying or telling the truth?
