The second season of House of the Dragon got off to a murderous start. After finding the only remains of her son Luke and his dragon, Queen Rhaenyra Targaryen returned to Dragonstone and demanded that Aemond—Alicent’s son who was responsible for the attack—be made to pay for it. A son for a son, as Daemon said, when he sneaked into King’s Landing. But the guard and the rat-catcher he paid failed to find Aemond. Instead, they end up killing King Aegon II’s heir, Jaehaerys, the same boy who was declined a pony ride at the Small Council earlier in the episode.
Elsewhere in the season 2 premiere, we met Ned Stark’s ancestor—his great-great-great-great grandfather, Cregan Stark—when Rhaenyra’s eldest Jacaerys paid him a visit. We also learnt that Alicent and Criston Cole are having an affair. (The Kingsguard uniform continues to mean nothing, be it House or Game of Thrones.) Alicent’s daughter, Helaena, discovered their secret when she ran into her mother’s room but it seemed she was too stunned by her baby’s murder to focus on anything else. Will it play a role later in the season?

For those in the Mountain time zone—in the likes of Denver, Calgary, and Salt Lake City—the second episode will drop at 7 pm MT.
For the Central time zone—for the likes of Dallas and Kansas City—the release time is 8 pm CT.
And over on the East Coast—places such as New York, Toronto, and Washington DC—House of the Dragon season 2 episode 2 will premiere at 9 pm ET on June 23.

For those on the British Isles—be it England, Ireland, Wales, Scotland, or Northern Ireland—House of the Dragon season 2 episode 2 arrives at 2 am BST on June 24 on NOW and Sky Go.
“Rhaenyra the Cruel” will be simulcast at 2 am BST on Sky. For those unwilling to stay up, the episode will also be broadcast at 9 pm BST on Monday.

In Portugal, House of the Dragon season 2 episode 2 debuts at 2 am WEST on June 24.
If you’re a House of the Dragon fan in Andorra, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Czechia, Denmark, France, Hungary, Monaco, Montenegro, Netherlands, North Macedonia, Norway, Poland, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain or Sweden, “Rhaenyra the Cruel” will be available at 3 am CEST on June 24.
In Bulgaria, Finland, Moldova, and Romania, episode 2 drops at 4 am EEST on June 24.
House of the Dragon is available on Max across Europe.

In India, House of the Dragon season 2 episode 2 will drop at 6:30 am IST on Monday, June 24.
As with all other HBO originals, the Game of Thrones spin-off is exclusive to JioCinema in India.

If you live on the West Coast—in Perth or elsewhere—the new House of the Dragon episode drops at 9 am AWST on June 24.
For the Central time zone—in cities such as Adelaide—the release time is 10:30 am ACST.
That leaves the East Coast—in the likes of Melbourne and Sydney—where House of the Dragon season 2 episode 2 arrives at 11 am AEST on Monday, June 24.

For most Kiwis, “Rhaenyra the Cruel”—the second episode of the second season of House of the Dragon—will premiere at 1 pm NZST.
